Harry's been killin it with his quotes lately! Annnnnnd here we go. RE the sleeping man in the park: All nonchalantly, "Hm... Looks like someone died." {slight frown}
Regarding if I were to move: "I don't usually miss people, but I would really miss you." "I really love that ring coming out of your nose. Because it's golden!" Me: "Harry, what language is that song you're singing?" Harry: "Probably cursive..." Me: "Harry, I don't want you to get older." Harry: "It will happen Elle..." Me: "But then I won't be able to hold you any more." Harry: "Though I'll still be able to give you a kiss! And maybe even write you a note!" "You could name your kids twin names! Like Silly, Billy, Illy, Killy, and Millie. Or... Dandelion Fluff!" Harry: "Elle, what tattoo do you want?" Me: "How about one that says I love Harry and Izzie?" Harry: "Sorry. That one's not available." Out of the blue: "Am I too cute for you to handle a bit?" And oh, there are so many more. Kids are the absolute best. Pure entertainment all. day. long.

My lovely friend of 14 years came for a visit a few weeks ago (so, I'm super behind on blogging). It was so wonderful to catch up and spend time with her. If there ever was such a thing as soul mates, I'm pretty sure we are. ^^Pike Place ^^ Chihuly Garden and Glass was so amazing. And those BLANKETS...! ^^ Trip to the Capitol Hill Farmers' Market. ^^ P.S. I made those shoes. Pretty darn proud of myself too ;) ^^ Bunheads forever ^^ Topped off with a WHOLE lotta silliness. Love you, my dear Rachel.
There was a time in my life- let's say a good 2 years at least- when I was obsessed, no really obsessed, with Canada. The whole country! And I made it a point to say things like eh and aboat and soar-y and stuff. Pretty much, I convinced everyone at EFY (that's Mormon camp for those who don't know) that I, in fact, was Canadian. And I even had an "I Heart Canadian Boys" trucker hat to prove it. So... When my family told me they were planning a vacation to Vancouver, my teenage heart skipped a beat. My grown up heart was pretty excited too though, because... Canada! (So maybe I haven't changed all that much.) Once I mentally recovered from the border patrol interrogation, and from the part where, upon crossing the border, I completely forgot how to drive (it was weird), I was transported back to my Avril Lavigne days and life was good! It really was a wonderful trip, and I plan to visit more often. ^^ You do not disappoint, Vancouver. ^^ Jon is pretty thrilled. ^^ Might not compare to my friend's piano bike, but a gelato bike?! Pretty darn good.
Happy Birthday Jon! I love you more and more each day. Here's to you! (Plus a little iPhone photo update.) ^^ A little penguin I made for Harry. ^^ Cheers to meeting new friends (we will visit him in Belgium one day!), the best gmo-free sushi, and haircuts. ^^ Whisky grilled peach + goat cheese sandwich. So good! ^^ Quick trip to Portland, and the most delicious brunch for Jon's birthday.
