I've been feeling quite melancholy lately. I didn't actually notice this until the sun came out one day and I felt really happy, realizing that in comparison, I'd been feeling, well, melancholy. I do love me some rain and overcast skies, but I think I forget how important vitamin D can be. Really. Don't worry; the sun went away and the melancholy is back, and so I've been listening to all sorts of mildly depressing music (I don't know how it's happening but I swear Pandora knows this is and is feeding the behavior), and wearing moderately depressing color schemes (no lipstick!) and finding myself wishing to spend my whole days cuddled up in bed with a book or my own thoughts. And coffee, bread and cheese. I see now why Seattle is so coffee obsessed. All of this is to say nothing really, but it feels good to type it out. And so help me Pandora, if you play one more acoustic indie song, I will kill you. Below, a whole slew of random photos. And a little mini how to series for your entertainment: HOW TO BE AWKWARD AT ANYTHING
